WHAT IS GME COURSE ?

AFTER COMPLETION OF YOUR B.TECH OR B.E. DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING YOU HAVE TO GO FOR 1 YEAR PRE-SEA TRAINING TO JOIN MERCHANT NAVY AS ENGINE OFFICER.THIS TRAINING IS CALLED AS GRADUATE MARINE ENGINEERS (GME) COURSE. AFTER COMPLETION OF GME COURSE YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED AS TRAINEE MARINE ENGINEER



ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1.DEGREE IN MECHANICAL OR NAVAL ARCHITECTURE WITH MINIMUM 60% IN FINAL YEAR WITH 50% IN ENGLISH IN 10TH OR 12TH

2.SOME INSTITUTE ASK FOR MINIMUM 60% IN PCM
