Yes,You can join merchant navy
after the 12th from PCM with having more than 60% in it you can do the DNS or Bsc Nautical science.
after the completion of btech you can but there is GME (Graduate marine engineer) course of 1 year where you will learn the components that are used on ship and other parameter
But before joining course you should make sure you are joining the right institute with having a great placement record or you have a sponsorship letter.
Sponsorship letter is given by the company directly having tie up with institute so always beware of this all thing becuase in todays world it becomes very hard to get into the good shipping companies which can change the fortune of your life.
And very important thing is beware of the fraud which demands the money for ship because no companies demand money from you for placement.
